Eila: Ilustradora, pintora y una amiga.

Eila Pérez tiene 28 años, viguesa y Licenciada en Bellas Artes 

y actualmente estudiante del 2º año del Master en Libro Ilustrado y Animación Audiovisual.

Compañera de clase, compañera de trabajo y amiga, puedo decir que es la inocencia personificada: cariñosa, tierna y siempre amable. "Desde pequeña siempre quise ser pintora, fue lo único claro que he tenido en la vida. La familia me ha apoyado siempre de forma incondicional y los profesores siempre les aconsejaron a canalizar mi creatividad..."[...] " Bellas Artes fue una carrera muy interesante que en aquel momento le recomendaba a todo el mundo como una experiencia y para abrir la mentalidad. Enseñan a percibir, a sentir, a pensar... Pero reconozco que extrañé la técnica tradicional en las materias básicas como Pintura, Escultura y Dibujo. Se centraron demasiado en el concepto dejando de lado la mano de obra con la excusa de que el artista no es artesano."

Acabada la carrera de Bellas Artes y en pleno Máster se enfrenta a la frustración de localizar el tiempo necesario para dedicarse a pintar: "Creo que podría llegar a vivir de mis cuadros pero no consigo impulsarme al tener que trabajar en otros terrenos para poder sobrevivir." 

Su obra de índole realista es una danza de pinceladas que esculpen con elegancia en un lienzo los retratos de diferentes personas: "Me gusta conmover a la gente captando una expresión y evocando un recuerdo. Lo hago físicamente perenne. El individuo siente la presencia del retratado a un nivel emocional superior al de una foto."

Eila Pérez is 28 years old, from Vigo, she´s Bachelor of Fine Arts and she´s studying the second year of Master´s degree of Illustrated Book and Audiovisual Animation right now. 

Classmate, co-worker and a friend, i can say that she is the personification of naivety; lovely, tender and always kind. 

"Since I was a child I wanted to be painter always, it was the only thing that I had been clear. My parents always leaned me heavily and my teachers advised them how to channel my creativity." [...] " Fine Arts was a degree course very interesting which i used to recommend to everybody in that moment like an experience and open minds.  They teaches you how to perceive, how to feel, how to think,... But I admit that I missed the traditional techniques on our basics subjects like Paint, Esculpture and Draw. They based on concept a lot forgetting the working force using the arguments like the artist is not an artisan".  

Just finished Fine Arts and doing her Master´s Degree she´s fighting against a frustration about looking for  any needless time to paint: "I think that I could live thanks to

my paints. 

Her works of art in a realist kind are some brushstrokes dancing to sculpt portraits of some people on a canvas: "I like to move the people grasping an expression and bringing to mind some memories. I make it perennial.  People feel  the presence of the subject in a emotional level higher than a photograph".
